ICE has arrested nearly 75,000 people with no criminal records, data shows

    CATEGORY

    THE OFFENSE

NBC News made a post stating that “more than a third of the roughly 220,000 people arrested by ICE officers in the first nine months of the Trump administration had no criminal histories.”

    THE TRUTH

ALL illegal aliens have broken the law, and, by NBC’s own admission, the vast majority of illegals arrested by the Trump administration have criminal histories separate from their immigration violations. NBC attempted to slander President Trump’s immigration crackdown, but ultimately just drew attention to the fact the administration has removed 145,000 illegal migrants with criminal records from our streets.

    KEY POINTS

NBC News meant to portray the administration’s immigration crackdown as targeting innocents, but ultimately just brought attention to how many criminal illegals it has removed from civil society.

    CLAIM

Immigrants in overcapacity ICE detention say they’re hungry, raise food quality concerns

    CATEGORY

    THE OFFENSE

NBC News published an article in which detainees and so-called “immigration advocates” complained about food quality and overcrowding in ICE facilities.

    THE TRUTH

The Department of Homeland Security has thoroughly debunked this. No ICE detainee is subject to a lack of food or subprime living conditions.

    KEY POINTS

NBC News published false reports from criminal illegal aliens as fact, ignoring the facts outlined by DHS, and contributed to a false narrative that has driven a 1,000% increase in violence against ICE agents.

Black mayors and leaders decry Trump’s threats to deploy National Guard in cities

    CATEGORY

    THE OFFENSE

NBC News released a one-sided article disparaging President Trump’s enhanced law enforcement operations in Washington, D.C.

    THE TRUTH

The “immigration advocates” cited in the article are far-left partisan sources who claimed that President Trump’s law enforcement efforts were a “federal coup.” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Al Sharpton, Marc Morial, and Derrick Johnson were among the partisans quoted in the article. Bunn’s writing included only two republican voices of dissent, one of which was buried in the bottom of the article.

    KEY POINTS

NBC News’ Curtis Bunn published a one-sided article that overrepresented biased left-wing voices in an effort to undermine President Trump’s law enforcement operations in the nation’s capital.
